My New Room! + Mini Room Tour!

Last year I decided that I wanted to re-do my room however as I am only 15 I needed help from my mum and dad to paint and drill holes in the wall etc. But other commitments popped up and I wasn't able to start it last year but I was promised that production would begin in January. The theme I decided on was black and white and copper and throughout the last few months I've been making and gathering lots of decor to accessorize my from with. We started painting it 3 weeks ago and now its finally finished, so I thought I would share it now its complete. Although its finished there are still some other bits and bobs which I'm going to save up for, like a rocking chair and two bedside tables.

Here's a few of my favourite parts of my new room:

Saying Goodbye To Blogging?

You may have been wondering where I have been lately because for the last few weeks I haven't been active on here or Instagram. If im honest throughout November and December blogging became less enjoyable than it did when I first started. I think this because my blog kind of came just a beauty blog as I never really spoke about things other than beauty, don't get me wrong beauty is something I love but their are things I love more which I wasn't writing about, and from the beginning I always wanted my blog to be filled with all sorts of things I love, not just beauty. So I have decided to change up my blogging theme (or whatever it's called) and become a lifestyle blog. I know the title of this post is abit dramatic because I'm not quitting blogging, But I am "saying goodbye" to my current niche . I want to start writing more about things like fashion, interior design, diys, advice etc.  If the things I have listed aren't your cup of tea don't worry because I will still do posts about beauty but I want to do a range of other things too.
On the theme of change, I really want to start to improve my photography too, as lately I haven't been the happiest with it . I am happy with the quality but not the layout and I want to try and decorate my photos with candles and throws etc.

At the time I am writing this I am at 95 followers which is sooo close to 100! Thank you for everyone's continued support and I can't wait to get back into blogging again very soon :)

2015 Non Beauty Favourites!

Im a little bit late on the yearly favourite posts because everyone did theirs a few days ago and i'm only just posting mine now. Today's post is going to be my non beauty favourites and because there's been so many 2015 Beauty Favourites, I have decided to do a non beauty one to mix it up abit. If you do want to see my beauty favourites then I put them on my Instagram @rosiehannahh .

Firstly my favourite place this year has been Disneyland. I went their in the summer with my school and it was my favourite day out of this whole year! I had so much fun taking pictures, going on the rides, watching the parade and eating lots of food. The weather was beautiful and hot and the queues weren't that busy.
The second topic is bloggers. As a blogger who only started blogging less than 6 months ago I have looked up to and taken inspiration from so many bloggers. The beauty blog 'charline has a blog' has been my favourite blog this year. Charline, the blogger who owns the blog, posts so regularly and her photography is excellent. I love how the products in her photos are laid out in her pictures and I just really enjoy reading her blog. Two other blogger who I have been loving are Hannah Rose and Ella Rose.I love their posts, especially the one they did together which was a blogger gift swap. Their blogs are quite similar and are based around beauty and I thoroughly recommend reading their blogs.

Next topic is films/tv. I have been absolutely loving Netflix and my favourite series this year have been gossip girl and Orphan Black. Gossip Girl is based on rich kids who live in New York and 'Gossip Girl' reports on their every move. Although I haven't finished all the series yet I do know who Gossip Girl is because my friend ruined it for me :( Orphan Black is really hard to explain without giving the whole plot away but I definitely recommend that you watch it.

Food and Drink I have been loving this year is jelly tots and tango ice blasts. Jelly Tots are now my favourite sweets ever! I don't know if jelly tots are available in other countries so if they arent then i'll explain; jelly tots are small circle gummy sweets with sugar around the outside of them, they come in lots of different flavours, like strawberry, orange etc. They remind me so much of my childhood and I feel as though they're not appreciated enough in the confectionery world hahaha. Tango Ice Blasts have been my favourite drink this year, I think you can only get them at cinemas but as my sister gets discount for cinemas I have visited my local one at least once a month this year. The drink is basically a fizzy slush puppie and I always get the red cherry and blue raspberry flavours mixed together :)

Two fashion essentials this year have been my a-line denim skirt and my leather jacket. In September I did a OOTD post mentioning both of these as they have been a staple throughout this year. Both items can be worn in any season because you can add and take away other clothing items that go with them, depending on the season.

Lastly, my music favourites this year have been Years and Years and songs from musicals. I discovered Years and Years in the summer when their song 'King' became popular, some other my other favourites from them are 'take shelter' and 'worship', I always listen to them when walking to school. I would love to see them in April but its my sisters birthday the weekend that they're in wembley and also I have nobody to go with :( Secondly is songs from musicals; wicked, Matilda, cats etc. On spotify I have a whole playlist dedicated to my favourite musical songs and when I am tiding my room or something I will always put on the playlist and sing and dance to all the songs.

I hope you all have an amazing 2016!

Lush Boxing Day Haul!♡

Im going to start by saying that I hope you all had a very merry Christmas and you had a thoroughly relaxed day with whatever you were doing. I personally had a really good Christmas and I was so grateful for everything I had received! I have decided not to do a 'what I got for Christmas' post but instead I'm going to be doing separate hauls with things I got for Christmas and boxing day mixed together.

Yesterday was my first ever experience of Lush on Boxing Day and it wasn't a very pleasant one. The shop was so busy and you couldn't really browse at all the products available and I was in the queue for around 45mins before I could pay. However the staff were really friendly and made the experience slightly less stressful by showing demonstrations and talking about all the different products whilst you were waiting in line. All the Christmas products were half price so I picked up 5 things (I would've bought more but it was quite hard to look and smell the products with so many people pushing and shoving).

The first thing I picked up was the so white bath bomb which was a repurchase. This is undoubtedly my favourite Christmas scent from lush and I was so gutted that they discontinued the shower cream which they had last year. This apple scented bath bomb is white on the outside but inside it is pink and turns your bath pink when it fizz's.

Secondly I picked up the yognog bath bomb which smells of toffee and very sweet things. I'm not sure if I really like the smell because I personally think it has a small hint of liquorice in it which I absolutely hate. However I feel as though that I would warm to scent over time.

The last bath bomb I picked up is called shoot for the stars. When I first smelt it i couldn't put my finger on the scent so I had to go on the lush website a read about it. Apparently it has the same scent as the lush soap honey I washed the kids and the shower gel its raining men. Its sweet like honey yet not as sweet as yognog or snow fairy. I am most excited to put this one in my bath as it turns your bath water purple and release little white stars.

The next product I picked up was the salt and peppermint bark, this is basically a solid scrub and when I had my birthday party at lush (heres a link to the blogpost I did about it ) i used it. The peppermint smell is what sold it to me because I love peppermint! The scent reminds me of candy canes and humbugs and I am very excited to smell like peppermint once I use it.

The bubblegum scrub was actually a Christmas present but I thought I would mention it in this. It has become my holy grail lip product along with one other things but im not going to go into too much detail because im going to do a separate blog post on this.

Lastly I bought a Santa Fun as a present for my friend and it was something that really intrigued me. The multipurpose product, which can be used as a shower gel, shampoo and a bubble bar, has jasmine and ylang ylang fragrance. I feel as though you could use this many times so it great value for money!

Everything I bought was in the sale so I got all of this for about £11! All the bath bomb I got were £1.98 each and the bark was £2.97 and the fun was £2.50. I will definitely go next year but before I go I will write a shopping list so that I get more things.

If anyone got anything from lush on the boxing day sale I would love to know what you got!:)

Pamper Essentials; Winter Edition♡

In winter I tend to have pamper routines more often, I think it's because getting into a warm hot bath and having a Christmassy bath bomb really appeals after having a cold rainy day. Also as I have had mocks recently I have been wanting to take the time to chill and relax in the bath, forgetting about all the stress. Also I tend to write my blogposts in the the bath because I tend to have more ideas and inspiration when I am in the bath! Don't really know why that's the case but anyway....
Today I am going to be talking through my favourite winter pamper products and my little routine I have for pampering myself.

Soap and glory are one of my favourite brands to use to pamper myself. I love their scents and the packaging is so retro and cute. One of my favourites from them is the soap and glory sugar crush body scrub, it's brown sugar and lime scent is deliciously sweet and smells so good that I could probably eat it, as for using it as a body scrub I find it effective at removing dead skin from my body and I also have the body wash too match. However my all time favourite scent is the clean on me scent, it isn't as sweet as all the other soap and glory scents which I know of like and the bottle is huge so it has last for ages!

A recent discovery of mine has been the glorious moo mud facial mask. I like putting this on before my bath and then I normally leave it on for about 10 minutes and then I take it off in the bath. This is a semi-thick mask and it makes my skin feel very soft after I've used it.

Along came Betty is a brand which I find isn't really talked about in the blogging world and when I was given a gift set from this brand for my birthday I was excited to try it out, so far I have only used the bath crystal from the set I was given but I do really enjoy using them and I love the peachy scent they give off in the bath. You can get this brand in tesco's and is very inexpensive and the gift sets would make an excellent stocking filler this Christmas.

Contrasting to the brand Along Came Betty, Zoella beauty is constantly spoke about by various bloggers and vloggers. I personally prefer the scent of the original range, rather than the new because its much more fresh. One of my favourites is the Zoella soak opera which can be used to make bubbles in the bath or as a body wash.

Lastly is a lush product. Because it's Christmas I am obviously using a Christmas one and today I used the holly-go-lightly bubble bar. This makes tonnes of bubbles and turns the bath green, however my favourite lush Christmas product is the so white bath bomb which smells like apple:)

Thank you for reading and please let me know your favourite pamper items in the comments!

Lush Christmas Demo's♡

Snow White Bath Bomb....
Lush describes it as ''Be the fairest of them in apple-scented waters as pure as the driven snow. Bathe in a white mist filled with crisp apple fragrance and a slow, melting rosy centre. Bergamot oil and rose absolute helps you feel calm and peaceful, while neroli oil and orange flower absolute revives your (Christmas) spirit. ''

Holly-go-lightly Bubble Bar
Lush describes it as ''Come on in out of the cold and wrap yourself up in this comforting Christmas bubble bar. Break the generously-sized pudding of a bubble bar into two and crumble under running water. With spicy cinammon leaf and patchouli essential oils it's like bathing in a hot toddy, perfect for getting you in the Christmas spirit. Organic illipe butter softens the skin while warming clove leaf oil is sure to get you feeling steamy. A tonic to mind and body!''
